“AIPS meets Gianni Infantino” rescheduled for 15:00

BUDAPEST, February 2, 2020 – The time for the “AIPS meets Gianni Infantino” programme scheduled for February 3 has been changed to 15:00CET.
People from around the world can still tune in to the afternoon session, which will be moderated by AIPS President Gianni Merlo, via the AIPS Facebook page: @AIPSMedia.
The meeting would last for one hour and serve as a prelude to the prestigious AIPS Sport Media Awards, which also has Infantino as one of the high-profile guests confirmed to attend. The much-anticipated Awards ceremony will also be shown live as already announced.
Infantino, who recently became an IOC Member, will arrive in Budapest from Rabat, Morocco, where he spoke at a seminar focused on the development of competitions and infrastructure in African football.
Over the next three days, the Corinthia Budapest Hotel, will play host to the 2nd AIPS Sports Media Awards and 83rd AIPS Congress, with over 200 persons expected to attend both events.
From celebrating the best sports storytellers for the year 2019 to engaging in crucial discussions about sports journalism as well as making key decisions for the benefit of sports media professionals across the globe, AIPS has prepared a packed programme that will last from February 3 – 6, 2020.
