The 2024 edition of the AIPS Sport Media Awards has officially closed today, as announced, with more than 2000 works and more than 130 nationalities represented. 

A real honour and another clear expression of the global character of the AIPS Sport Media Awards. 

Here's what happens next:

4 November, 22:00 CET = Deadline
November-December: Internal validation of submissions
January: Longlist announcement (first voting stage), Certificates of participation distribution
February: Shortlist announcement (second voting stage)
March: Top 10 candidates announcement (third voting stage)
April: Finalists announcement (fourth voting stage), final ceremony (fifth voting stage)
May: Final rankings + Continental rankings, Certificates of excellence distribution

SPECIAL COMMENDATIONS. Since 2022 the AIPS Sport Media Awards also highlight more than 30 additional works, aside from the winners, that deserved recognition for their contribution. Special commendations for works aligned with AIPS cornerstone values and important breakthroughs in the sport media industry will be delivered across the 9 categories.
