World rankings 2024 edition all categories
After the ceremony of Rabat, the AIPS Sport Media Awards are proud to announce this year's world ranking across all categories.
The rankings feature the top 10 of each category and are made taking into account the following criteria:
For Podium (1, 2, 3)
1) Final position in the final ceremony
Places 4-10:
2) Higher number of votes received in the in-person Jury meeting (shortlists)
3) Higher number of votes received in the in-person EC meeting (longlists)
4) Higher ratings by the initial panel of specialists and AIPS mentors
5) Overall rating with over 20,000 votes processed for the initial phase
Some rankings might feature more than 10 names for equal number of votes received in the shortlist meeting, and some rankings might not have 9th and 10th positions due to tie in the 8th place. You can check the streaming of the ceremony on AIPS YouTube channel. Rankings were shown on the screen after each category was presented.
