Behind the victory of New Zealand against Italy’s Luna Rossa in the America’s Cup of sailing —the oldest sports trophy in the world, dating from 1851—, lies a rivalry that started at the London Olympics. New Zealander Joseph Sullivan (gold in rowing that day in London together with Nathan Cohen, and winner of two America's Cups as a grinder on Team New Zealand) and Romano Battisti, silver in London 2012 paired with Alessio Sartori and now a grinder on Luna Rossa.
