ORIGINAL STORY / Ksenia Chasteau, Rebounds - Canal+
  • Marine Clerc (France)

In France, Ksenia Chasteau is the greatest prospect ever in wheelchair tennis. She discovers the discipline in 2021, at 15 years old, after a motorcycle accident with her father, during which they both lose their left leg. Ksenia is then amputated below the knee. At the end of 2024, the young woman makes a strong choice during the off-season: to have her leg amputated a second time, higher, with this ultimate desire to walk again thanks to a prosthesis. Author followed her throughout her hospitalization, from the day of her amputation when she goes to the operating room, to the recovery room and then to the rehabilitation weeks that follow, with only one quest: walk nearly 4 years after her accident.
